Intrepid Lovesick Notes

Unearthing my truth

Intrepid Lovesick Notes

  • Being

It’s always the frequency of you

    that I succumb to.
    The depth of your essence,
    the glare of your soul
    it entices my being,
    pulls my flesh through galaxies,
through constellations I never knew I belonged to.
    This flesh,
    drifting through space and time,
    manifesting to the universe,
    requesting, someday, you’ll be mine.

    My position is too raw
    for my opposition
    this love seems predisposition,
    etched in starlight,
woven into the marrow of my bones.
    Through shifting riverbanks,
    through currents of choices,
    you linger
    a shadow at noon,
    a flame I cannot extinguish.
    We move,
    we bend through objectives,
    we bend through differences,
    and yet
in every fraction of a moment,
    you remain.
    And if my soul seeps,
if my veins bleed the weight of longing,
it’ll be my pain to reap
    my harvest of fire,
    my quiet despair,
    my thunder in the dark.
    Still
    you remain.

    Even when the stars fall,
even when the universe forgets my name,
    even when time fractures
    and the rivers run backward
    you remain.
I have loved you in every lifetime,
    in every breath,
in every heartbeat I thought was my own.
    I have traced your shadow
in the ripples of my palms,
in the glow of a dying moon,
in the echoes of rivers that do not sleep.
    And I will love you
when the cosmos forgets its own song,
    when the planets collide
    and the heavens burn,
when my body returns to dust,
    and yet
    my frequency finds yours
    and I succumb
    again, and again,
like the tides obeying the moon,
like the stars obeying the night.
    Because you remain.

  • There is darkness in her eyes and yet she still rise to my surprise

walking along roads lost weeping wanting to be belong

a thud a knock on the walls

awaking the strings from this fickle broken mundane world

drown these sorrows where my heart flows

lay it to rest as it witnessed the breaking of thy soul at the hands of you

bleeding out for the lover to back plant me in their garden

together all that was unearthed can become one
